Hair Transplant

A hair transplant is a skillfully executed, delicate process that combines art and science. In the days and weeks following the procedure, a good recovery from the treatment is important. Healing and recovery time are during this time, and they can greatly affect how the FUE turns out in the end. In this article, we’ll cover some crucial hair transplant aftercare tips

It may take two to three months following a hair transplant before your new follicles integrate completely and begin to grow new hair on their own. Even while the new hair may appear unruly and harsh at first, you will soon have the new hair you deserve. After receiving a hair transplant, most people have full natural hair growth 12 to 15 months later. But if you have any concerns at all, you can phone us or request a free examination as part of our aftercare program.

AFTERCARE:

DON’T DRIVE AFTER THE PROCEDURE, make sure you have someone to drive you to and from your appointment. After the procedure when you want to ride a car, please be cautious because the skin of the scalp is still numb.

Sleeping Position After Hair Transplant

You must use two or more pillows to prop yourself up on your back so that you can sleep semi-upright. After your hair transplant, this position will lessen any possible swelling on your head.

After the procedure, kindly supply a neck cushion. You can avoid causing damage to your recently transplanted hair while you sleep by using the neck pillow.

You need to be very cautious for the first two weeks after hair transplantation.

The transplanted area should be sprayed over every 20 minutes for the first 12 hours, then once every 30 minutes to an hour for the next 2 days, and then every two hours from Day 3 to Day 5 of the FUE procedure. You don’t have to get out of bed at all hours of the night to spray. When the supplied Normal Saline solution is gone, you can replace it with sterile water (bottled water). As you do this, wrap some towels around your shoulders and let the water runoff.

Healing takes 7-14  days following a hair transplant, and during this time you must strictly adhere to the aftercare instructions provided by us. Avoid swimming, using tobacco, consuming alcohol, exercising with heavy impact, and more.

During this time, if you have any annoyance, pain, or discomfort, please contact us right away.

We recommend starting washing after 48 hours with gentle, dilute baby shampoo and water, you can use a small bowl to pour the water over your head and wash grafts without touching, you can start gentle massage of grafts after 11-12 days with the tip of fingers, after 14 days you can take a normal shower using your routine shampoo.

Please wait until all follicles have healed before engaging in any high-impact physical activity following your hair transplant. High-impact exercise makes you sweat, which is bad for your newly transplanted scalp. Typically, we advise avoiding vigorous exercise for 4 weeks.

Your scalp may seem pink and scabbed ten days following the transplant. Nothing to worry about as long as there is no pain or discomfort. Your follicles will go dormant again and your new hair will fall out after the pink skin and scabs are completely healed, giving you the appearance you had before the hair transplant. After days 11-12 start gentle massage of the scalp so crusts will fall off. Please avoid too much sun over the head for about 6 months.

Please be patient for growing hair as it takes about 12 months for full growth
